Jon Garrett’s conservative values aren’t just words – they guide how he serves and leads. Grounded in faith and responsibility, Garrett believes public service means solving real problems, not chasing attention. That’s why his priorities are cutting property taxes, securing the border and backing law enforcement, and continuing to strengthen our schools. Leadership should be about results, not politics and that’s how Jon Garrett thinks.
Real-World Experience. Real Results. Jon is the only candidate with boots-on-the-ground experience implementing Operation Lone Star. He’ll move past the political talk to deliver long-term, strategic infrastructure that finally secures our southern border and protects Texas taxpayers.
Protecting Your Home and Your Wallet. Jon believes you shouldn’t be taxed out of the home you already own. By eliminating government waste and working with Governor Abbott, Jon will fight for permanent, meaningful property tax relief – not temporary promises.
Parents and Students First. Education should be about preparing our children for the future, not about Austin-led politics. Jon is committed to empowering parents, supporting teachers, and ensuring every student in HD10 has access to a world-class education.
Jon Garrett is a sixth-generation Texan whose roots run deep in Ellis County. But for Jon, “home” wasn’t always a place of stability. Growing up in a household filled with turmoil, he learned early on that life doesn’t always give you a clear path; you have to build one. Committed to finding a better life and guided by a growing faith, Jon spent his youth learning the value of showing up, following through, and trusting God to turn struggle into strength.
In 2010, while attending Navarro College, Jon met his wife, Alyssa. They married in 2013 and have spent the last decade building a life grounded in the values of hard work and responsibility. Today, they are raising four children, Tre, Landry, Fin, and Avery, with the same deep respect for tradition and community that Jon fought to find for himself.
Jon’s professional journey is a testament to Texas entrepreneurship. Right out of college in 2014, he founded what would become Apex Site Services. What started as a small, local tent-rental business has evolved into a national leader in emergency infrastructure, demonstrating Jon’s ability to pivot and deliver when the stakes are highest.
For Jon, business isn’t just about the bottom line, it’s about stewardship. He believes that strong communities are built by preserving what makes them unique. Whether through local media or historic landmarks, Jon has reinvested in the community he calls home.
Jon’s leadership is inseparable from his faith and his belief in the power of a second chance. This work is deeply personal; he knows what it’s like to need a hand up, and he’s spent years ensuring that hand is available to others.
He currently serves as the board chairman for a local nonprofit dedicated to helping men and women in recovery rebuild their lives. His mission work has taken him as far as Western Kenya, where he established the region’s first addiction recovery program and funded a women’s maternity hospital.
Jon Garrett isn’t a career politician. He’s a husband, a father, and a business owner who believes that when something is broken, you don’t argue about it, you fix it. He’s ready to bring that “roll up your sleeves” mentality to Austin to deliver real results for House District 10.
